Dr. Gordon Ko

Dr. Gordon Ko is a former Senior University Associate Professor and a current qualified physician licensed to practice in the province of Ontario. He practices in a private practice at the Canadian Centre for Integrative Medicine in Markham, Ontario. Based on Dr. Ko's education, training, and experience, he is qualified to express an opinion related to the injuries and impairments, and is able to determine the seriousness and permanence of the impairments.

 

Dr. Gordon Ko graduated with a medical degree from the University of Toronto School of Medicine. He is certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with a specialty in physiatry, which deals with physical medicine and rehabilitation.  Dr. Ko holds a subspecialty in pain medicine (American Board of Pain Medicine). 

 

Gordon Ko is an Adjunct Lecturer in the division of physiatry, department of medicine, University of Toronto. He is a physiatry consultant at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (University of Toronto) and leads the fibromyalgia-pain integrative medicine clinic in the department of rehabilitation medicine.​

Dr. Gordon Lawson

Dr. Gordon Lawson is a recognized chiropractic specialist, licensed to practice in the province of Ontario. Dr. Lawson practices in Unionville, Ontario. Based on his education, training, and experience, Dr. Lawson is qualified to express an opinion related to injuries and impairments and able to reach a diagnosis, as well as determine the seriousness and permanence of impairments. 

 

Gordon Lawson graduated with a chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He is certified with the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences, with a specialty in sports injuries and rehabilitation. Dr. Lawson is also certified with the College of Chiropractic Orthopaedic Specialists. Along with his other qualifications, Dr. Lawson is a certified evaluator in Impairment and Disability Rating in the AMA Guide to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 4th edition by the American Board of Forensic Professionals (Certification #1156). Dr. Lawson also holds a specialist certification with the American College of Clinical Nutrition. He has completed the AMA Guidelines in Impairment Ratings.

 

Gordon Lawson is an assistant professor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has held various positions over many years. He holds advanced credential status in pain with the Canadian Academy of Pain Management.

Dr. Susan A. Gillis-Lawson BSc, DC

Dr. Gillis graduated from the University of Western Ontario on the Dean's Honour List and from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College cum laude, receiving several awards of distinction. 

She has been active in post-graduate education completing a fellowship in Acupuncture and attending many post-graduate courses and seminars, keeping up to date on the latest research and development. She has been a Director of MaxAbilitation Inc. since 1992.

Dr. Susan Gillis has both a professional and personal interest in assisting people with injuries. Dr. Gillis' focus is on looking at the whole person and coming alongside her patients in their health journey.

Dr. Ashley Collinge

Dr. Ashley Collinge graduated from the Canadian Chiropractic Memorial College in 2009. She has been with the FASTEC/MaxAbilitation Inc. team since then and has worked in various roles within our company. Dr. Collinge oversees operations management of medical legal assessments and report production.

 

Dr. Collinge has experience in the area of chronic pain management as she is also a practicing chiropractor in the Markham area, with a focus on chronic pain patients. Dr. Collinge has a background in both Kinesiology and Psychology from the University of Western Ontario, graduating in 2005. She is committed to ensuring FASTEC/MaxAbilitation Inc. provides high quality, defensible, accurate reports with evidence-based research references.

Lena Woo BSc

Lena has been a part of the FASTEC/MaxAbilitation Inc. team since 2010. As the Client Care Coordinator, she plays a vital role in coordinating assessments and ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. She goes above and beyond to assist with client requests and is committed to meeting all their needs. Lena is passionate about helping people and is sensitive to the challenges of those who have been affected by injuries.
